\u201cHe who has begun has half done. Dare to be wise; begin!\u201d \u2014 Horace<\/p>\n

Frankly, it\u2019s amazing how, with appropriate intention, the right things show up in service!<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t know what to say?<\/p>\n

Well, not knowing what to say doesn\u2019t stop some of us\u2026 perhaps it should?<\/p>\n

Since 1988, when I made the decision to pursue leadership rather than being led, I\u2019ve been working on what to say.<\/p>\n

When in doubt, inquire.<\/p>\n

On Oct 3, 2024, which would have been my mother\u2019s 90th birthday, I\u2019m going to launch a new platform at LeadU.com\/news<\/a>.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve been busy figuring out what to say. That process led me down a \u2018path of paths\u2019 into codifying helping skills and models\u2026 finally realizing it\u2019s not what I say but what I hear that really matters.<\/p>\n

In the posts that follow, I\u2019ll choreograph the convoluted nature of listening and hearing and how the way you talk can change what you hear.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m still finalizing all the stuff that goes into all the rigmarole of launching a platform, so if you are an early adopter, there will be opportunities to play along.<\/p>\n

Opportunities abound (you haven\u2019t seen anything yet!) in helping, leading, coaching, and training as a start, so come jump on the wagon early and watch it unfold.<\/p>\n

My plan is to unpack it all right here in front of you along the way.<\/p>\n
